Medication errors present a major public health burden and standardized protocols and working procedures should be in place in order to mitigate the occurrence risks.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) in collaboration with the EU regulatory network has issued regulatory guidance for medication errors. This guidance is included to this workshop \/ seminar for nurses and pharmacists with the intention to raise awareness and to support the implementation of the provisions regarding appropriate handling, storing, labeling medication as well as the reporting procedures of medication errors and the related adverse events.<\/p>\n

It addresses to nursing staff and pharmacists<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
