This may involve frequent interactions with health services, lifestyle changes and, in many cases, reliance on support networks. Safety must be ensured across the entire continuum of care \u2013 from prevention, early detection, and accurate diagnosis to treatment, safe transitions of care and long-term management \u2013 across healthcare settings, homes and communities.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Strong and integrated health systems, strengthened primary healthcare, a well-supported health workforce, equitable access and effective communication are essential prerequisites for preventing avoidable harm.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">As an active participant in the <strong>Global Patient Safety Network<\/strong> and the World Health Organization\u2019s global initiatives over the past six years, the <strong>Euro-Mediterranean Institute for Quality and Safety in Health Services<\/strong> is publishing an information report dedicated to noncommunicable diseases. The report presents key data and highlights the strategic priorities developed by WHO to empower both people living with NCDs and the health services providing their care.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The information bulletin is available <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/eiqsh.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/EIQSH_Information_Bulletin_WPSD_2026.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>here<\/u><\/a><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">As part of the celebration of <strong>World Patient Safety Day 2026<\/strong> (<strong>WPSD 2026<\/strong>), the Euro-Mediterranean Institute for Quality and Safety in Health Services, Avedis Donabedian is announcing a survey using a specially designed questionnaire.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The questionnaire will be available <strong>in the coming
