May 12 was established as the International Day of Nurses to honor the birth of Florence Nightingale (1820), a philanthropist and as considered, the founder of modern Nursing.<\/p><p>This year\u2019s message is \u201c<strong>A voice to lead: A vision for Future Healthcare<\/strong>\u201d. 2021 is the year to promote the Nursing of the future, but also the role of nursing in shaping the modern standards in Health Care.<\/p><p>National and international policies should include into their planning the empowerment of nurses, the strengthening of their potential and skills in order to respond effectively to the current challenges facing Health Systems.<\/p><p><strong>For this anniversary, the Euro-Mediterranean Institute for Quality and Safety of Health Services, expresses its full respect and gratitude to the Nurses and thanks them warmly for the essential work they perform daily with humanity, empathy, sensitivity and professionalism.<\/strong><\/p><p><u>On the occasion of this year&#8217;s celebration of International Nurses&#8217; Day as a minimum token of appreciation, the Institute offers a 50% discount for the registration of nurses as its members.
