Each year, the Day is dedicated to a specific topic, which is judged to be a vital parameter for patient safety and the achievement of Universal Health Coverage, in the context of sustainability in the Health Sector (Sustainable Development Goals) such as defined by the United Nations.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">According to the World Health Organization (WHO), every day 5400 stillborn babies, 810 dead women and 6700 dead newborns are recorded.
