The Euro-Mediterranean Institute for Quality and Safety in Health Services is pleased to announce the NEW training program for the period March-May 2023.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Optimal universal health care requires organizational structures, modern scientific knowledge, the adoption of good practices and, above all, health professionals with appropriate expertise and advanced skills. Therefore, patient safety and improved clinical outcomes require interdisciplinary collaboration, culture change, integration of systematic care approaches into the health system, and ongoing education and training of medical and nursing staff.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Since its inception, the Euro-Mediterranean Institute continues to introduce modern knowledge and tools that support health professionals in the implementation of holistic, patient-centered and safe care approaches.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

In this context, considering the needs of Health Professionals, the Institute constantly develops specialized seminars\/training programs, to transfer global experience and modern knowledge for the continuous development of the human resources of health services. The material and content of the programs has been designed according to the Curriculum of the World Health Organization and is based on European guidelines and international protocols officially published by International Organizations.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The educational modules “Operation of the Office of Quality in Health Services – Conducting internal inspections and quality controls in Health” and “Safe Management of Medication” are again available and graded by the Greek Nurses Association – ENE*, at the same time we offer 3 new educational modules:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

  • Clinical Governance – Functioning of clinical governance instruments – Evaluation of administrative and clinical effectiveness<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
  • ESG Criteria and Sustainable Development in the Healthcare Sector<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
  • Principles of Sustainability in Health Services<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
