Patient Safety Network, participates in the initiatives of the World Health Organization to celebrate World Patient Safety Day.<\/span><span the 72nd World Health Assembly through the adoption of resolution WHA72.6, and its main objective is to promote, at a global level, actions to prevent and reduce risks for patients in the provision of healthcare care.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The theme chosen by the World Health Organization for 2023 is &#8220;Empowering patients for patient safety&#8221;, in recognition of the critical role that patients themselves and their families and carers play in the &#8220;Strengthen the voice of patients!&#8221;, P.O.Y. calls on all stakeholders in all Health Systems to take the necessary actions to ensure that patients participate in policy making, are represented in governance structures, participate in the design of safety strategies and are active partners in their own care.<\/span><span
