Mr. Ioannis Kalofysoudis is a nurse and an expert in ensuring and improving the quality of healthcare services and patient safety, with more than 25 years of professional experience in the healthcare field. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Nursing, a master’s degree in Critical Care and Emergency Nursing, a master’s degree in Cardiovascular Nursing, and an MBA in Healthcare Management.

Since 2011, she has served as Director of Quality Management and Effectiveness Measurement Systems at the Athens Medical Group, where she is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of integrated systems for quality, clinical governance, effectiveness evaluation, and sustainable development. He has contributed to the implementation of a series of international standards at the Group’s hospitals, including ISO 9001, ISO 22000, EN 15224, ISO 15189, ISO 14001, and ISO 14064, as well as to the development of clinical protocols, performance indicators, and internal clinical audit mechanisms.

He has extensive experience as a consultant, inspector, and lead evaluator of health services in Greece and abroad, having participated in quality audits and evaluations at more than ten hospitals. In addition, he is active as a lecturer and author in the fields of nursing, intensive care, and healthcare quality. In 2020, he was named a “Quality Leader” by TÜV HELLAS in recognition of his contribution to the development and implementation of modern quality management systems.
