European and International Projects
The Euro-Mediterranean Institute of Quality and Safety in Health Services participates in the design, implementation, and scientific support of national, European, and international projects that contribute to the improvement of healthcare services, the development of innovative solutions, and the strengthening of healthcare organizations’ capacities.
These projects cover a wide range of thematic areas, including healthcare quality and patient safety, public health, telemedicine, clinical protocol development, digital health, healthcare professional education, clinical governance, and organizational development of health systems.
“We transfer international knowledge and expertise into projects with meaningful impact for healthcare professionals, organizations, and citizens.”
The Institute has extensive experience in project design, proposal development and submission, project management, and the implementation of both co-funded and non-funded initiatives, supporting healthcare organizations and stakeholders throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
This expertise includes the development of project proposals, the establishment of partnerships and consortium structures, the design of work packages and monitoring indicators, deliverable management, as well as scientific and administrative support throughout project implementation.
The Institute has experience with major European funding and development instruments, including Horizon Europe, EU4Health, the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), as well as national and international technical assistance programmes, healthcare reform initiatives, and health system strengthening projects.
Participation in European and international projects represents for the Institute not only a means of supporting and financing initiatives, but primarily a mechanism for transferring knowledge and expertise, fostering innovation, strengthening international collaborations, and creating sustainable added value for healthcare systems and citizens.
