The Euro-Mediterranean Institute for Quality and Safety in Health Services, Avedis Donabedian, has the honor to announce that Mr. Kostoulas DImosthenis, scientific partner of the Institute, has taken over the duties of the Secretary General and Member of  Board of the Greek branch of the European Association of Data Protection Professionals (EADPP). At the same time, he is appointed head of the Communications & Events Committee of the Greek branch in order to promote this very promising european venture for privacy professionals.

The EADPP Association (https://www.eadpp.eu/) was founded on 28-11-2018 in Maastricht, the Netherlands with primary aim to facilitate, organise, structure, and represent European data protection professionals based on European perspectives and the principles of the GDPR.

Ultimate goals of EADPP:

  • the creation of a pan-European certification program for all Privacy Professionals, so that there is consistency and homogeneity in terms of the criteria that must be met by all those who operate in order to promote data protection
  •    the creation of a pan-European code of ethics, which will be approved by the European Commission
  •   the proper representation of privacy professionals in European institutions, so that there is a proper and dynamic claim of their rights, as well as any other claim of any kind.
