Recognizing the importance of correct and timely diagnosis for patient safety, the theme of World Patient Safety Day (WPSD), this year is ‘Improving Diagnosis for Patient Safety’.
With the slogan “Get it right, Make it safel“, WHO calls for concerted efforts to reduce diagnostic errors through multidimensional interventions based on systems thinking, human factors, and the active involvement of patients, families, health professionals, and health leaders.
The Euro-Mediterranean Institute for Quality and Safety in Health Services, as a member of the Global Patient Safety Network, participates in the initiatives of the World Health Organization to celebrate World Patient Safety Day.
