In November 2025, the annual comparative study that reflects the health status and the performance of health systems in OECD countries, “Health at a Glance 2025”, was published by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
OECD countries have largely recovered from the pandemic, and both the quality and accessibility of health services are improving. However, financial pressures are increasing, and — despite the high risk of future health crises and the fact that investments in prevention are among the most cost‑effective interventions — prevention spending has returned to pre‑pandemic levels.
