On 9 and 10 April, the 5th cycle of the Institute’s educational seminar was successfully completed:
“Operation of a Quality Office in Healthcare Services – Conducting Internal Audits and Quality Assessments in Healthcare.”
This year’s cycle was attended by 23 healthcare professionals from Greece and Cyprus, representing both public and private healthcare sector organizations in the two countries.
Once again, the participants themselves confirmed the significant value of the programme, both for professionals with a specific interest in quality assurance systems in healthcare services (such as quality managers/heads of quality departments in hospitals and heads of departments required to contribute to the operation of a certified healthcare organization), as well as for those wishing to systematize processes and implement mechanisms for continuous quality monitoring and improvement in their daily practice and professional activities.
The seminar places particular emphasis on patient safety principles and protocols in healthcare services, as well as on risk management methodologies through practical examples and references to everyday clinical practice.
