This seminar describes the methodology of individual risk assessment conducted by nurses with the aim to plan appropriate and effective care plans to be followed for each patient.
In the frame of the risks identification there are highlights for injure vulnerability of the patient (falls, pressure ulcers e.tc.) as a result of environmental conditions interacting with the individual’s adaptive and defensive resources, which may compromise his/ her health status. Complicated and severe nursing risks are also discussed such as DVT and PE.
