Mr. Evangelos Katsapis is the alternate Executive Secretary with responsibilities in financies and business strategy of the Institute. He brings a distinctive combination of analytical exposure to financial and energy markets and a strong technical and operational background.

With more than 12 years of independent trading experience across equities, commodities, and financial markets, increasingly focused on crude oil and energy, he has developed solid capabilities in technical and fundamental analysis, derivatives and options, risk management, and assessing macroeconomic, geopolitical, and market drivers.

He had served as a Hellenic Navy Warrant Officer, specialising in electrical systems and maritime operations, and has cultivated his know-how and skills in operational prepardness, problem-solving and decision making methods in complex systems.
