The two-day training workshops continue to be conducted across all Regional Health Authorities (RHAs) by IQVIA HELLAS and the EuroMediterranean Institute of Quality & Safety in Healthcare Services, Avedis Donabedian, with the aim of communicating the strategic objectives and priorities for Quality Assurance in Healthcare and Patient Safety in the delivery of healthcare services, on behalf of the Hellenic Organization for Quality Assurance in Health S.A. (ODIPY S.A.).
The workshops are addressed to executives of the Healthcare System and the Regional Health Authorities, with a particular focus on executives of medical and nursing services, as well as representatives of Hospital Committees.
The completed training workshops were held at the 3rd Regional Health Authority of Macedonia on 3–4 October 2024 and at the 4th Regional Health Authority of Macedonia & Thrace on 8–9 October 2024.
The next scheduled training workshops will take place at the 5th Regional Health Authority of Thessaly on 31 October – 1 November 2024, at the 6th Regional Health Authority of Peloponnese, Ionian Islands, Epirus & Western Greece on 14–15 November 2024, and at the 7th Regional Health Authority of Crete on 28–29 November 2024.
The initiative “Empowering the Healthcare Workforce for the Successful Implementation of the National Strategy for Quality Assurance in Healthcare” is part of the operation “Improving the Quality of Healthcare Services” (MIS Code: 5180919), which has been submitted under the “Organizational Reforms in the Healthcare System” measure funded through the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF).
