IQVIA HELLAS and the EuroMediterranean Institute of Quality & Safety in Healthcare Services, Avedis Donabedian, have the honour of delivering the ODIPY S.A. workshops as part of the ongoing activities of the project “Empowering the Healthcare Workforce” for the Hellenic Organization for Quality Assurance in Health S.A. (ODIPY S.A.).
The launch of a series of two-day training workshops across all Regional Health Authorities (RHAs) has been highly successful. These workshops aim to communicate the strategic objectives and priorities for Quality Assurance in Healthcare and Patient Safety in the delivery of healthcare services. They are intended for executives of the Healthcare System and the Regional Health Authorities, with a particular focus on leaders of medical and nursing services, as well as representatives of Hospital Committees.
The first two training workshops have already been successfully held in the 1st Regional Health Authority of Attica and the 2nd Regional Health Authority of Piraeus and the Aegean Islands on 17–18 September 2024 and 15–16 October 2024, respectively.
The next scheduled training workshops will take place at the 5th Regional Health Authority of Thessaly on 31 October – 1 November 2024, the 6th Regional Health Authority of Peloponnese, Ionian Islands, Epirus & Western Greece on 14–15 November 2024, and the 7th Regional Health Authority of Crete on 28–29 November 2024.
This initiative supports the implementation of the National Action Plan for Quality in Healthcare, which forms part of the strategic priorities of the Hellenic Organization for Quality Assurance in Health (ODIPY S.A.).
The project “Empowering the Healthcare Workforce for the Successful Implementation of the National Strategy for Quality Assurance in Healthcare” is part of the operation “Improving the Quality of Healthcare Services” (MIS Code: 5180919), submitted under the “Organizational Reforms in the Healthcare System” measure funded through the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF).
